Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Nku App Services (Tsegazeab Hailu Tedla, Finland) governing your use of the Scholarship Finder app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms.

1. Eligibility. You must be at least 16 years old to use Scholarship Finder.

2. What the app does. Scholarship Finder helps you discover scholarships and study-funding opportunities, check your eligibility against your profile, save and track opportunities, and get deadline reminders. Always verify details on the official provider's page before applying — we link to the original source for every listing, but we do not control or guarantee the accuracy or availability of third-party opportunities.

3. Your account. Keep your login credentials secure and your profile information accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account. You can edit or delete your data at any time (see our Account & Data Deletion page).

4. Acceptable use. Don't misuse the app: no scraping or automated bulk access, no impersonation, no attempting to bypass security, no unlawful use.

5. Advertising and paid features. The app is currently free with no ads. See our Subscription & Advertising Terms for how monetisation works if/when it's introduced.

6. Intellectual property. The app, its design, and its content (other than third-party scholarship listings and information you add yourself) belong to Nku App Services or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. Notes and other content you create remain yours — you grant us the licence needed to store and process it so we can provide the service to you.

7. Third-party links. Scholarship listings link to official third-party provider websites. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those external sites.

8. Disclaimers and liability. The app is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any scholarship outcome, admission, or funding result. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for issues arising from your use of the app is limited.

9. Termination. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

10. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under EU law or the law of your country of residence.

11. Changes. We may update these Terms; material changes are notified in the app.
