Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Scholarship Finder account and personal data at any time:

• In the app: Profile → Data & privacy → Delete account → confirm.
• By email: send a request from your account email address to enlightnkugen@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account".

What gets deleted: your account, sign-in credential, and all personal data associated with it — profile fields (nationality, DOB, grades, test scores, etc.), saved items, notes, application-tracking, alerts, and registered device/push tokens.

What may be retained (and why): limited records we are legally required to keep, and security logs, for a short period; and anonymised/aggregated data that no longer identifies you. Public scholarship listings are not personal data and are unaffected.

Timing: your account is deactivated immediately on request and personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days (soft-delete → purge), except for the limited items above.

Just want to remove some data? You can edit or clear individual profile fields and saved items in the app without deleting your whole account. To exercise any other privacy right (access, correction, export), email us.
