Account & Data Deletion

Stories Book has no accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no account to delete. Your child's reading progress is stored only on your device, and you can remove it at any time.

Delete reading progress on your device

• In the app: Parent Zone (lock icon, then the grown-up question) → Reset progress → confirm. This permanently removes every reading status, favourite, star and saved page.
• Remove everything, including settings: delete the Stories Book app from the device. On Android you can instead clear the app's storage (Settings → Apps → Stories Book → Storage → Clear storage; menu names vary by device).

This data never leaves your device, so we cannot delete or restore it for you, and it is not transferred when you change phones.

Data we may hold, and how to delete it

Support emails. If you have emailed us, send a request from the same email address to support@nku-services.com with the subject "Delete my data". We delete your messages and email address within 30 days, except anything we are legally required to keep for longer.

Advertising data. In versions that show ads, the ad network receives technical information needed to deliver a contextual ad (see our Privacy Policy). These requests are tagged as child-directed and do not include the advertising ID, so they are not linked to a profile of your child. The ad network keeps such records under its own retention policy. Anonymous or aggregated information (for example, total download counts provided by the app stores) does not identify anyone and is not affected.
